Original Mexican. Delicious. Very nice waitresses

A nice quaint restaurant with great service. Unfortunately not all dishes were in stock, but that was probably due to the incalculable customer requests on the holiday. Nonetheless, we were served excellently and, especially when it came to tequilla, we were given particularly good and competent advice and "spoiled". It's a shame that we were only able to have this experience on vacation and that we are not allowed to use this service more often ... A real enrichment of our restaurant experience ?

Disappointing ... burrito reminded of a heated pizza, reserved space for 5:30 p.m., called that I would come a few minutes later, according to the reservation confirmation until 7:30 p.m. ... as soon as you got to the table you had to leave after 7 p.m. be..

You must visit this place. Good decor and music to start with. We were a small group without reservation, and all asked for different plates. We all got amazed by the presentation, quality and flavour of the food. They have also a big collection of tequila, with some secrets that are outside the menu. If you are searching for something different from the typical German food, you should really try this place!

We were guests at El Sombrero this evening. The restaurant was well attended. The food and cocktails were very good. The portions were more than ample. Keep it up!

So the food was very good to my taste. The waiter was very friendly and tried very hard to serve the guests quickly, but unfortunately he is responsible for the whole place (inside and outside) which is clearly too much for you. So hire a friendly waiter then five stars.

Nice ambience meets great food. You seldom see a Mexican restaurant where everything is done by yourself. You can tell the love of the operator with every bite. Try it out and convince yourself of the fresh taste

Very nice, small restaurant. It is advisable to reserve a table. We made reservations at 8 p.m. and were then able to stay seated. Food went quickly and was super delicious! Service was very attentive and friendly despite the full restaurant. Would love to come back !!

Loved the food! The fajitas were delicious, but way to much. Took the rest home for the next day. Nice stuff. Can only recomend!

Cozy mexican. The restaurant is small but cozy. A reservation is recommended. The map is clear but absolutely sufficient. Here you will find many great food, as well as a small but fine cocktail selection. The food was good but nothing special. The service was good and friendly. I liked it and I would come back.

Worst experience at this restaurant. Not worth the time or money. Had reservations for 20:00 and we waited 42 min for our drinks to come. We sat before two other tables and received no intake for our orders. I wanted to order nachos as a starter and because the waitress took the orders of people seated after us. Then says the are out of nachos. The people seated after us got the last nachos. Terrible staff, and lack of care for patrons. I would give a 0 if possible. Not coming back to this dump. Go to margaritas before here. Also they reserved 18 seats for a 9 person group. So I had to sit in a tight spot in between groups. 1 hour later they come back and ask if we would like a new table. By this time I'm already heated and dont have the patience to speak to these people.

An interesting German take on Mexican food for example no margaritas. Sauces tend to be northern Italian flavors the selections are okay but not even remotely related to Mexican food. If you're in for a German take on Mexican you really oughta try it. Service is pretty good prices are reasonable nice outdoor location in the summertime.and strangely enough it appears to be pretty damn popular.

Good Mexican food in the middle of the Regensburg old town. Friendly staff. The food was delicious and plentiful. It lacks something the Mexican sharpness ?. But that's my impression. The tables in front of the restaurant are all reserved, but on request with the staff gladly forgiven. Relatively normal prices.

The only things not authentic about this restaurant are the price, and them mixing up Burritos and Enchiladas. Amazing fajitas!

The atmosphere there was very good, I was with friends from work celebrating Christmas, and we enjoyed being there. The food was very delicious, the staff was friendly and price was affordable too. It is also very well located in the old city center from Regensburg. I would go there again. Weak point: the Mojito was missing a alcohol on it, was tasting too sweet like Hugo. Despite that, was everything fine.!

Tasty Mexican, excellent margaritas

We went there last night and it was not very good. This is not Mexican food or even Tex- Mex. The Nachos we ordered said it came with chilli con carne& it was just (bolognese sauce) lol My dad orered "Tacos" and they were just fried egg rolls that were SUPER greasy! He couldn't even eat them. Me& my mom order "Enchiladas" and it was just a huge burrito with a nasty filling& no enchilada sauce, it tasted so gross. They also don't offer any sides like beans and rice, it comes with a side salad. Lol My friends back home would laugh if they went to eat Mexican food& got served a side salad with their tacos. I guess if you are super hungry or don't know what 'REAL' Mexican food is, go. If you do know what it is though& are looking for authentic food, save yourself a trip. We will not be going back.
